Scholarship Assistant

Scholarship Assistant (Primary: Outreach & Engagement | Secondary: Awarding Support) Primary Function: Supports scholarship programs through student outreach, engagement, and event coordination. Ensures students are informed, supported, and successfully connected to scholarship opportunities. Responsibilities Conduct outreach to current and prospective students regarding scholarship opportunities. Support the Scholarship Administrator with awarding processes as needed. Follow up with students regarding applications, requirements, and deadlines. Coordinate student participation in scholarship events, including the annual recognition program. Represent scholarships at college-wide events to promote awareness and engagement. Assist in preparing donor stewardship materials and event-related communications. Support application processing, data entry, and database maintenance. Track RSVPs, attendance, and logistics for scholarship-related events. Maintain accurate records of student interactions and outreach efforts. Collaborate with campus departments to ensure scholarship information is accurate and accessible. Participate in NCC Foundation and Institutional Advancement events. Perform other duties as assigned. Organizational Relationships Reports to the Director of Scholarships & Stewardship. Works collaboratively with Institutional Advancement and campus partners. Supports the College's mission through student engagement and scholarship promotion. Qualifications Education: Associate's degree required Experience: Experience in student services, outreach, events, or customer-facing roles preferred; entry-level candidates welcome. Skills & Abilities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Comfort working with diverse student populations in multiple formats (in-person, phone, virtual) Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Positive, professional, and student-centered approach Posting will close on: 06/10/2026.
