Your Role in Synergy's Success

This position is primarily responsible for coordinating sample shipments within the sweet research and development (R&D) group. The role is highly collaborative and supports other groups within R&D, such as flavor creation and applications, by ensuring our customers receive the highest quality samples, quickly.

How You Will Contribute

• Independently ship flavors, and finished food and beverage application samples, utilizing tools such as Product Vision (PV) and FedEx Ship Manager.

• Ensure samples are delivered to customers in a timely manner and R&D service matrix guidelines are met.

• Routinely communicate with internal stakeholders by email, instant messaging, and phone, on the status of sample shipments.


• Coordinate incoming sample shipments for R&D and commercial teams, ensuring samples are received in a timely manner.

• Maintain laboratory in a clean and organized manner. Routinely complete cleaning and organization tasks such as purging expired flavors, organizing flavor library shelves, and replenishing packaging materials.


• Routinely complete both physical and electronic paperwork including sample lot assignment, sample label generation, and metric/KPI tracking.


• Perform all tasks with a strong safety mindset and, if observed, report any safety observations in accordance with internal policies and procedures.
