Prior Candidate Feedback:

• Lack of depth on performance tuning : Candidates could not provide specific scenarios where they addressed performance issues in Snowflake or Power BI
• Weak scenario-based responses : Unable to elaborate on real-life challenges and solutions when pressed
• Limited proactiveness : Missing the proactive, solution-oriented approach demonstrated by working across teams on templates and custom export solutions.
• Insufficient Power BI expertise : Could not answer detailed questions on DAX optimization, semantic modeling, or migration strategy from OS to Power BI

• Primary focus : Power BI developer with strong reporting lens
• Secondary requirement : Understanding of data modeling and Snowflake as the sole data source to optimize performance
• Key responsibilities : Migrate reports from OS to Power BI, build semantic models, optimize DAX functions, and determine best placement of calculations (Power BI vs. database)

• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python for automation.
• Experience in integrating Snowflake with BI tools like Power BI
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) and their data services.
