Job Description

Building and optimizing SQL Server stored procedures, views, and complex queries. Designing and developing ETL processes using non-Informatica approaches, whether that’s custom frameworks, scripting, or other enterprise-approved tooling. You’ll implement data transformation and processing logic for high-volume datasets, integrate data from multiple sources like files, APIs, and upstream systems, and handle data validation, reconciliation, and performance tuning. You’ll also support testing, deployment, and production validation of data pipelines, working alongside engineering and business teams to turn requirements into scalable solutions.

Pay Rate: $50-$57

Skills and Requirements

3+ years in software development or data engineering, with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL, stored procedure development and optimization, SQL Server Agent job development, and non-Informatica ETL development. You should be comfortable with data transformation and aggregation logic, query performance tuning and indexing, and large-scale data processing workloads. Familiarity with version control (GitHub), standard SDLC practices, and BigQuery query development. Programming experience for ETL processing, experience integrating data from multiple source systems, CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments, and an understanding of the financial services industry are big plusses.
