Senior Recruiter

Role Description

At GXO Logistics, we believe that hiring great people is critical to our success. As the Senior Recruiter, you will focus on attracting top-tier talent and delivering a best-in-class candidate experience. You will partner closely with hiring managers to develop and execute hiring strategies that align with our business goals.

*This position requires the candidate to reside on the East Coast (Eastern Time Zone) to ensure alignment with team operations.*

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Work creatively with hiring managers and the HR team to ensure exempt and non-exempt positions are filled with highly talented candidates in a seamless manner.
• Partner with senior management to develop recruitment strategy.
• Conduct regular business partner meetings to educate on recruiting best practices and market data, including execution of recruiting processes and tools.
• Support junior recruiters providing feedback, sharing best practices and helping them grow professionally.
• Develop innovative and creative ways to attract the most qualified and diverse candidates.
• Coordinate and attend recruiting events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
• 2+ years of experience in recruiting, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality.

Requirements

• It’d be great if you also have:
• MBA or advanced degree in related field.
• 4 years of progressively responsible experience in HR, specifically in employment, high-volume recruiting, EEO and compliance.
• Demonstrated expertise in advanced internet searching and candidate research.
• Demonstrated confidence in all settings when advising/partnering with business leaders; ability to maintain professionalism and focus in an ambiguous environment.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in an environment with competing demands.
• Solutions oriented with solid problem-solving and follow-up skills.
