We are a Monmouth County based law firm seeking a skilled and dependable professional for the role of Litigation Paralegal. The role will include support to a team of three attorneys to ensure the smooth progression of cases from filing suit through trial. The Litigation Paralegal works closely with attorneys, clients, and staff, bringing organization and initiative to complex litigation matters.

This position requires sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and composure in a fast-paced litigation environment.

To succeed at this role, the ideal candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to balance and meet competing deadlines; must possess strong written and verbal communication skills; and must utilize discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information.

Responsibilities:

• Managing case files and calendars, discovery, pleadings, and court filings in state and federal courts.
• Drafting, proofreading, and cite-checking pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Coordinating large-scale document productions, including e-discovery.
• Assisting with and preparing attorneys for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial.
• Conducting factual and legal research as needed.
• Serving as a point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, and vendors.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a personal injury law firm.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Paralegal Certificate preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures.
• Proficiency with e-discovery platforms and legal research tools.
