Account Executive - Great Lakes (CST/EST) United States, Remote Human Interest is on a mission to ensure that people in all lines of work have access to retirement benefits. We’re a high‑growth fintech company changing the retirement industry. What you get to do every day Work full cycle deals from demo to close. Research and target companies using prospecting tools. Build and manage a pipeline. Learn and demonstrate our platform to new prospective customers. Negotiate contracts. Record and document all sales activities in Salesforce.com. Successfully utilize all sales tech tools. What you bring to the role At least 2 years of work experience in a sales role, preferably at a startup. Demonstrated track record of exceeding quota. Love closing deals and helping businesses by delivering a product that has concrete value. Solutions oriented – recognize objections and help customers see value in our product regardless of industry knowledge. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills – people trust you and feel you advocate for something you believe in. Experience working with high‑velocity sales cycles or selling to small businesses. Resilient – bounce back from setbacks quickly, resourceful, and creative in getting things done. Comfortable with a wide range of sales tools, including Salesforce or other CRMs. Passion for solving big problems and having an immediate and positive impact. Ability to embrace feedback and hold yourself accountable. Ability to learn technology basics and apply them to business situations. Must be located in Eastern or Central time zone. Compensation The total on target earnings (OTE) for this role is $150,000–$155,000, which includes a base salary of $77,500 and a variable target compensation of $77,500. The specific pay rate offered is based on the candidate’s relevant skills and experience. Hourly pay is just one component of the total rewards package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of physical, financial, and mental wellness benefits and stock option grants.
