Director, Pediatric Heart Failure & Transplant Medicine

Position Director of Pediatric Heart Failure/Heart Transplant Physician and a second Pediatric Heart Failure/Heart Transplant Physician at Ochsner Children's Hospital, the only pediatric heart transplant center in Louisiana. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care for patients with cardiomyopathies, heart failure, transplant, congenital heart disease, and ventricular assist devices. Lead and collaborate with the multidisciplinary transplant team, including physician assistant, transplant coordinators, transplant psychologist, transplant social worker, and transplant pharmacist. Co‑ordinate care within the Ochsner Children’s pediatric cardiac program, working closely with cardiology, EP, ACHD, interventional cardiology, imaging, fetal cardiology, and related specialties. Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology. Completion of an advanced fellowship in Pediatric Heart Failure/Heart Transplant or a minimum of five years of experience in the field. Active participation in PHTS and ACTION preferred.
