CNC Machinist - Lathe & Vertical Mills - 2nd Shift

EMC Precision has provided complex parts in low- to mid-volume quantities expertly machined since 1925. This Style Lathe Operator will be responsible for the Lathes with live tooling and Vertical Mill 4th & 5th Axis. Primary Job Duties $3,000 SIGN-ON BONUS! Bonus will be paid in 3 increments of $500/90 Days, $1,000/6 Months, and $1,500/12 Months. CNC Machine experience required Lathe experience with live tooling (Y axis) and sub-spindle Read and interpret drawings Read micrometer and other precision instruments Calculate/adjust machine settings Identify/solve problems High School diploma/GED preferred and be able to pass background check and drug screen Solid work history Requirements High School diploma/GED preferred and able to pass background check and drug screen. Fluent in Shop Math. Minimum of one year of shop experience. Maintains cleanliness of work area utilizing 5S techniques and methods. Responsible for the daily upkeep and maintenance of equipment. Solid work history. Must be able to frequently push, pull, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, stand, see general & close up, hear, speak, use motor coordination – dexterity as well as eye, hand, foot and use of hand(s), wrist, arms, and fingers and arm(s) in any direction. Must be able to occasionally kneel, stoop, bend, grip, climb flights of stairs.
