Overview Senior Product Owner – Delivery & Release Focused Job#: 3035596 Location: Maryland Heights, Missouri - 4 days onsite Role Overview The Delivery Manager owns end-to-end delivery for the assigned domain. This role is the single point of accountability for release scope, quality, and on-time delivery across multiple scrum teams. The Delivery Manager will work across Product, Engineering, QA, Program Management, and Business stakeholders to translate portfolio priorities into executed releases. This is a senior individual contributor role reporting to the Delivery Assurance Manager. Responsibilities Own release accountability, including scope, schedule, and quality for all assigned domain releases, with final consent on UAT and Production deployments. Drive backlog and prioritization decisions in partnership with Program Managers, Dev Leads, and Business stakeholders, and resolve trade-offs. Manage stakeholder communication, including pre- and post-deployment communications, status reporting, escalations, and exception requests up to senior leadership. Ensure compliance with release governance standards, including required documentation and processes. Identify cross-domain dependencies, surface risks, and drive mitigation across assigned and partner domains. Use delivery metrics such as cycle time and defect trends to drive continuous process improvements with Scrum Masters and Engineering. Lead release planning, Go/No-Go reviews, and Monthly Roadmap Reviews for the assigned domain. Partner with Scrum Masters on team-level execution and release readiness. Validate business intent on requirements and confirm release alignment with portfolio goals. Coach teams on delivery practices and standards compliance. Required Qualifications 5+ years in delivery management, release management, or technical product ownership in enterprise software. Demonstrated accountability for multi-team release delivery in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments. Strong working knowledge of Agile/Scrum and SAFe, with comfort operating in hybrid delivery models. Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and release/CI tooling. Track record of stakeholder management at the director level and above. Strong written communication skills. Product Owner Cert. Preferred Qualifications Experience in order management, e-commerce, fraud, or back-office systems. Background spanning both Scrum Master and Product Owner or Release Manager roles. Familiarity with delivery metrics programs like SLA dashboards, defect trend analysis, and capacity modeling.
