Management Analyst

Duties

The duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity.

The duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Administer the agency's Workers' Compensation program.
• Conduct studies of management and administrative processes and systems for the purpose of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the program.
• Establish study methods and techniques for use in internal and external studies and audits.
• Analyze injury and illness claims for priority ranking and further action.
• Review claim forms for accuracy and completeness, uses sound judgment to complete time-sensitive assignments.
• Enter OWCP claims information into automated data systems and spreadsheets, researches data and develops reports.
• Develop web-based and tactile educational tools and resources.
• Research and compile background information, statistical data and other information, prepares charts, graphs, and other narrative information.
