Concessions Management Specialist (Seasonal)

Overview Concessions Management Specialists coordinate rental property use, administer commercial permits and agreements, assess park assets, and work with lease holders to ensure compliant, high‑quality operations. Likely Entry On Duty: October 2026. Qualifications At least one full year of specialized experience comparable to GS‑05 scope (e.g., participating in oversight and management of commercial visitor services, communicating program processes, responding to inquiries, developing and managing budgets, providing customer support). Hours per week worked must be documented. OR successful completion of at least one full year of graduate level education (18 semester hours or 27 quarter hours) in fields such as business administration, finance, accounting, contracting, hospitality, park and recreation management, or closely related subjects, with transcripts provided. OR a combination of education and experience (e.g., 6 months of experience and 14 semester hours of graduate study). Transcripts required. OR meeting criteria for Superior Academic Achievement (S.A.A.) as evidenced by class rank, a GPA of 3.0 or higher, or membership in a national honor society. Open to the first 30 applicants. Volunteer Experience Volunteer work, including through National Service programs such as Peace Corps or AmeriCorps, is creditable for qualifying experience.
