Customer Service Representative

Full-Time | In-Person | Malvern, PA

Havertown Carpet Co. is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Customer Service Representative to join our team.

This is a full-time, in-person position focused primarily on helping customers, supporting our sales and installation teams, and keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly.

For the right person, this role also includes a fun creative side: helping with social media, taking photos and videos of completed projects, supporting community events, and helping tell the Havertown Carpet Co. story.

Customer service is the priority. Social media experience is a plus, but it is not required.

What You'll Do

Customer Service & Office Support (75%)

• Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers
• Welcome customers into the showroom
• Schedule estimates and appointments
• Help customers with questions before, during, and after their flooring project
• Follow up with customers regarding appointments and installations
• Assist with customer records and general office organization
• Support the sales and operations teams
• Help resolve routine customer concerns professionally and efficiently
• Maintain a friendly, organized, and welcoming showroom environment

Marketing & Social Media (25%)

• Take photos and videos of completed flooring projects
• Help create content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms
• Assist with before-and-after project posts
• Highlight employees, customers, products, and community events
• Help respond to social media messages and comments
• Assist with promotions, email marketing, events, and local advertising
• Help keep our online presence fresh, current, and engaging

Experience

Customer service experience is strongly preferred.

Experience in any of the following is a plus:

• Retail
• Hospitality
• Front desk or receptionist work
• Office administration
• Home improvement
• Interior design
• Flooring
• Social media or marketing

Flooring experience is not required. We will train the right person.

This is a full-time, in-person position in Malvern, PA.

This is not a remote, freelance, or contract social media position.

We are specifically looking for someone who wants to work directly with customers and become part of our day-to-day team.
