Position Title: Territory Sales Representative This role is essential in driving sales and fostering relationships with homebuilders and contractors within the territory. The Territory Sales Representative will engage directly with clients, offering a range of wood products critical to residential construction. The position requires frequent visits to job sites to establish connections and understand project requirements. A successful candidate will have a solid foundation in construction and sales, with a proactive approach to generating new business. The role presents challenges, particularly the need for effective in-person communication and relationship-building, as remote interactions may not fully capture client needs. Responsibilities Engage with homebuilders and contractors to promote and sell wood products Visit job sites to assess project needs and build client relationships Provide estimates and read construction plans accurately Manage projects and ensure timely delivery of materials Develop a weekly list of leads and follow up with existing and inactive accounts Collaborate with sales assistants to streamline order processing Maintain knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape Qualifications Construction experience 2-3+ years of sales or marketing experience Understanding of wood products and ability to provide estimates Experience working on job sites or in trim work is advantageous A degree in sales or marketing is preferred Benefits Full benefits package 401k plan with matching contributions #J-18808-Ljbffr
