Automotive Service AdvisorJiffy Lube Service Advisors are responsible for creating a positive guest experience and providing the highest level of customer satisfaction. During face-to-face customer interaction, the Service Advisor educates the customer about the condition of their vehicle and offers service recommendations that are in the best interest of both the customer and their vehicle. The Service Advisor listens to customer concerns about their car and offers solutions that meet their needs. This is an important job in our Jiffy Lube stores and critical to our success. The best candidates for this role are people focused and energized by the opportunity to meet many customers. They are comfortable recommending needed services and explaining value to customers. They have high energy, are friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and show empathy for the customer. Lastly, they have strong communication and computer skills in order to build service tickets and relay information between the customer and service technicians.Every J-Team member receives comprehensive training from Jiffy Lube University, our award-winning training program. We even offer Ace Accreditation of up to 32 college credits for completion and certification of Jiffy Lube University courses.Physical Qualifications:Must be able to operate equipment such as overhead and floor mounted oil and grease guns, transmission machine, air conditioner service machine, radiator service machine, hand tools and basic shop equipmentMust be able to lift and move work-related items up to 50 poundsMust be able to push, pull, lift, and bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, and turn head-neck-shoulders as neededMust be able to stand on your feet for several hours at a time.Job Duties Include:Providing Jiffy Lube guests with exceptional customer serviceUnderstanding the full range of Jiffy Lube products and servicesAccurately capturing guests' product needs and providing updates throughout the processOffering our guests options that are tailored specifically to their automotive needsGiving impartial advice to ensure that our guests are aware of manufacturer time and mileage recommendationsPerforming Jiffy Lube's Signature Service oil change (as required), replacing fluids, filters, wiper blades, and other preventive maintenance services.Perform additional duties as assigned to support daily store operations and team successTeam members who complete required training and perform well may be considered for advancement opportunities, including Supervisor/Key Holder and Assistant Manager roles.Qualifications:A minimum of 1 year of experience in a dealership, automotive shop, tire center, or quick lube environment is required.
