Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - Certified Surgical Technologist/CST

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital OR position supporting multiple surgical specialties including orthopedics, general, neuro, and robotics.

Short term acute care hospital with 325 staffed beds

Rotates through orthopedic, general, neuro, thoracic, vascular, GYN, urology, robotics, and ENT cases

Robotics experience preferred (daVinci & Mako)

Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM

Weekend shifts will be scheduled and required

On-call required, up to 5 shifts per month including possible weekend call

Epic EMR used for charting

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist

BLS certification required

WA state license required if applicable

Compact license must be in hand at time of consideration

Epic charting experience preferred

Proficiency in aseptic technique and instrument processing

Experience with a wide range of surgical specialties and procedures preferred

Supports surgical procedures across multiple specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, neuro, vascular, GYN, urology, ENT, and thoracic surgery

May be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted site

First-time travelers will be considered

Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for a travel contract

Returning former staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility

All RTO requests must be submitted up front at time of consideration

Must be willing to commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays
