Real Estate Accountant

Atlantic Group is seeking a Real Estate Accountant for our client in Boston, MA. This role supports the financial reporting and accounting oversight of a commercial real estate portfolio. The position involves reviewing property financial performance, assisting with audit and close processes, supporting fund-level accounting activities, and partnering closely with asset management teams. This opportunity is well suited for accounting professionals with real estate experience, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with Yardi. Responsibilities Review monthly property financial statements, cash flow activity, and capital expenditures prepared by third-party property managers Monitor property performance and identify financial trends and variances Analyze NOI trends, receivables, and budget-to-actual variances Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and reporting standards Partner with asset management teams to evaluate operating performance Assist with lease reviews, expense reconciliations, and tax-related analyses Contribute to quarterly and annual close cycles Support investor reporting, debt covenant compliance, and audit coordination Perform reconciliations and record investment transactions Process wire transfers, capital draws, and management fee calculations Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA or CPA-track preferred) 2–3 years of accounting experience, ideally within public accounting or real estate Experience with Yardi or similar real estate accounting platforms preferred Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
