Radiologic Technologist – Computed Tomography

Schedule: Friday-Sunday, 10:00 AM - 10:30 PM, with on-call every Thursday night and every 8 weekends.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:

• Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification
• Registered American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, RT(R) (CT) required
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in a hospital setting preferred
• Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (HCP) level to be completed within three (3) months of hire

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform Computed Tomography exams with and without contrast injections, following radiologist protocols.
• Utilize automatic exposure control and technical factors accurately, including collimation and tomographic factors.
• Handle patient transports, transfers, and positioning safely, confirming proper patient and exam preparations.
• Document patient information and imaging in the appropriate systems, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations.
• Mentor students from affiliated Radiology Technology Programs and maintain professional development through seminars and workshops.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and organizational policies during all procedures.

Compliance / Notes:

• Completes facility-specific CT modality orientation as required.
• May be assigned on-call standby shifts as needed by the department.
• Ensures self-compliance with organization policies and procedures.
