Talent Acquisition Specialist

Leads end-to-end recruitment for faculty, staff, student and executive level senior leadership positions across assigned units. Creates and implements recruitment strategies and establishes search timelines in partnership with hiring managers. Ensures the university’s recruitment and selection processes are followed, providing consultative advice and resources throughout the recruit-to-hire process. Facilitates a seamless, positive candidate experience. Serves as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, department leaders and interview teams. Provides guidance on hiring best practices and educates stakeholders on equitable hiring practices and compliance requirements. Tracks and analyzes recruitment metrics, providing regular reporting and insights to leadership. Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education in human resources or a related field. 4+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition. Experience recruiting in a large, complex organization. Strong knowledge of recruitment technologies, applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms. Demonstrated savvy with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Demonstrated AI proficiency in sourcing, workflow automation, prompt engineering and consultative talent advising.
