HR Generalist

Job Description: HR Generalist Company: Aranda Industries Location: Houston, TX Contact: View phone number on click.appcast.io Aranda Industries is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to oversee day-to-day human resource functions and support our growing team. The ideal candidate will handle recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance, ensuring smooth HR operations in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Manage the full recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires. Oversee employee relations, including addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive work environment. Administer benefits programs, including enrollment, updates, and answering employee questions. Manage HR documentation, such as employee files, payroll records, performance evaluations, and attendance logs. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. Assist with payroll processing by providing accurate employee data and time records. Support management in implementing training and development programs. Monitor and manage employee performance reviews and disciplinary actions. Track and manage leave requests, including PTO, sick leave, and FMLA. Maintain up-to-date job descriptions and policies and assist with policy creation when needed. Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide HR support for all departments. Requirements Experience: 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Solid knowledge of employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, OSHA, etc.) and HR best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HRIS systems is a plus. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism. Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to handle employee concerns effectively. HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred but not required.
