Leasing Consultant

Job Title Leasing Consultant Department Leasing Marketing Reports To Leasing Manager Status Full Time/Non-Exempt, Hourly Job Summary SimplyHome by Camillo actively seeks an experienced Leasing Consultant to interact with incoming prospect leads and facilitate conversion to resident applicants. Duties / Responsibilities Receive incoming leads Perform outbound follow-up on leads Discover needs of future resident leads Provide follow-up to convert prospects to applicants Identify properties that meet prospects’ needs Provide instructions for property access and showings Review application and screening requirements with prospects Review online application process steps with prospects Follow-up with prospects regarding showings and applications Be available during normal business hours, after-hours, weekends, and select holidays Required Skills / Abilities Friendly and welcoming demeanor, maintaining professionalism and a customer-focused approach Excellent time-management, detail orientation, and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills; proficient in English, able to articulate needs verbally and in writing Knowledge of management methods and employee-relations techniques; ability to connect with staff, troubleshoot problems, and help teams collaborate Ability to work in an equitable, inclusive, and diverse environment; Camillo commits to enhancing equity, inclusion, and diversity Understanding of laws and statutes related to the position Experience in real estate/property management (preferred) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage time effectively with little supervision Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects Strong negotiation and critical thinking skills Experience with Entrata or other CRM tools (preferred) Proficiency with Microsoft Office Bilingual capabilities (preferred) Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED Experience with Entrata, Salesforce or other CRM tools (preferred) Experience in real estate/property management (preferred) Equal Opportunity Employer Camillo Companies value a diverse and inclusive workplace.
