Chesterbrook Academy is seeking a passionate Mandarin Teacher to join our team. You will also… Develop and deliver engaging Mandarin lessons for early childhood and elementary students that support language acquisition and cultural understanding Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that fosters curiosity, communication, and confidence Adapt lessons to meet varying developmental levels and learning needs Integrate Mandarin instruction with interdisciplinary learning themes across the curriculum Collaborate with school teams and administrators to enhance the student experience Communicate regularly with families about student progress and classroom activities What We Offer Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid holidays and sick days 401(k) plan with company match Tuition discounts for your children Education reimbursement and partnerships What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in education, language instruction, or a related field Proficiency in Mandarin and experience with effective language teaching methodologies Experience working with young children, preferably in a school setting Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills Ability to successfully pass a state and federal background check A passion for language education and inspiring cultural curiosity in students To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
