Cohen Milstein’s Washington, DC office has an opening for an associate in the Civil Rights and Employment practice group, which represents workers and other individuals in litigation challenging civil rights and workplace law violations. We are looking for a candidate with one to three years of litigation experience, strong writing and analytical skills, and preferably some familiarity with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Fair Housing Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, or other civil rights laws. This position requires a demonstrated commitment to civil rights work, a team-player attitude, and the ability to travel. Candidates must be an active member of the DC Bar or be willing to apply for membership within 90 days of employment at the firm. The expected annual salary range (excluding bonus) for this position is between $154,000-$168,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors. You will be eligible to receive a year-end bonus, the issuance and amount of which are discretionary and dependent upon the Firm’s profitability.
