Payroll Systems AdministratorThe Payroll Systems Administrator is responsible for the planning, execution and implementation of all corporate payroll functions. The Administrator is responsible for educating employees on the functions of the payroll system, HRIS, and Time and Attendance System and providing support with any payroll-related inquiries and processes. The Administrator is also responsible for the execution of internal audit of payroll records and requires a working knowledge of various federal and state labor and payroll rules to ensure compliance with current payroll guidelines, regulations and processes. This position may exclusively be responsible for processing payroll on a biweekly basis and entering and maintaining data in the HRIS and payroll system, along with providing support and serving as a resource to other payroll team members.Essential Duties:Maintains employee information in HRIS as needed, including the timely input of employee terminations and new employee information.Serves as the company contact for payroll system and HRIS both internally and with payroll vendor and provides support and guidance to other payroll team members as necessary.Runs and reviews reports as requested from HRIS and payroll system. Assists with distribution and processing of time reports from timekeeping system.Reviews audit report, retroactive pay calculations and other payroll calculations and entries for accuracy and completeness of information entered in the payroll system.Interacts in a professional manner with managers to prepare timekeeping data for payroll processing.Reviews existing system and processes to ensure compliance with current payroll rules and regulations. Makes recommendations to finance director and human resources team to assist in identifying opportunities for improvement or standardization with corporate payroll functions.Participates in orientation of new employees and educates on payroll and HRIS training needs.Serves as a primary communication source for employees to answer any questions related to payroll, HRIS, or timekeeping system. Helps employees to understand payroll calculations and deductions, investigates problems and makes appropriate corrections.Responsible for accurate and timely completion of quarterly wage reconciliations, annual W-2 processing and other required filings as necessary.Assists with basic operation of time clock functions, including locations and set-up.Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in related field required6-8 years of related experience requiredCertified Payroll Professional or other related payroll certification preferredOrthoIndy is an Equal Opportunity Employer
