Payroll SpecialistThe Tom Wood Group, in Indianapolis, Indiana is currently searching for a Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of payroll processes and regulations. They will excel at maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance, and providing exceptional support to employees.Responsibilities:Process biweekly payroll & supplemental payrolls for more than 1,000 employeesProcess all payroll reporting after each transmittalSend out biweekly and supplemental payroll reports for various store locationsFollow up with management teams on time & attendance functions as well as time off approvals on a weekly basisAdminister garnishments and child support administrationADP reporting functions for Executive management, GM, Office Managers, and othersVerification on new hire information in ADP systemNew hire reporting to applicable statesHandle termination paperwork and maintain terminated employee filesOther payroll duties as assignedQualifications:Previous payroll experience – preferred experience with ADP Workforce Now.Associates/undergraduate degree in HR, Business, Accounting or equivalent work experience in payroll area.Ability to partner across organizations including Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, IT, Senior Managers, and Employees.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.A high level of confidentiality/discretion required.MUST have a valid driver’s license with a clean record.Benefits:PTO & VacationPaid HolidaysMedicalDentalVision401k with Company MatchLifeDisabilityTrainingTuition ReimbursementService AwardsCareer AdvancementWisely & DailyPayAbout Tom Wood GroupThe Tom Wood Group is proud to be family-owned and locally operated for over 50 years.
