OR Registered Nurse | Littleton, Colorado

Step into a dynamic surgical environment, playing a key role in a 16-suite main operating room that supports innovative procedures, including total joints, spine, organ transplants (kidney and liver), robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastics. This contract RN position offers you the chance to work 12-hour day shifts (7AM-7PM) with night and weekend call, collaborating with highly skilled surgical teams and leveraging state-of-the-art equipment and technology.


Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour day shifts (7AM-7PM)
• Includes night and weekend call

Qualifications:

• Active RN License required
• Demonstrated experience with transplant procedures a must
• EMR proficiency with Meditech
• Preferred: 3+ years of operating room experience
• Certified RN (highly desirable)

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and specialized nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in a busy operating room setting
• Circulate and/or scrub for a diverse range of advanced surgeries, including complex transplants
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes
• Maintain strict adherence to established unit guidelines, policies, and best practices
• Accurately document pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases within the EMR system
