Work Environment\n

As a remote position, you will work from the comfort of your own space, equipped with modern telehealth tools to connect with patients. You'll engage in video consultations, manage electronic health records, and participate in virtual team meetings. Our infrastructure supports a collaborative and supportive atmosphere, where team members share insights and strategies to elevate patient care continually. Your work hours will primarily be Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, carefully evaluating how medical conditions affect patients' psychological well-being.

• Develop and implement integrated treatment plans that address both psychiatric and medical challenges faced by patients.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and cohesive care strategies for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention services to clients experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring timely and appropriate support.

• Educate patients on the interplay between mental health and physical health, empowering them with knowledge to manage their conditions effectively.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines.

• Engage actively in team meetings, case discussions, and interdisciplinary care planning to enhance patient treatment outcomes.

• Stay current with the latest research, best practices, and evolving methodologies in integrated mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work closely with a diverse patient demographic that includes individuals suffering from co-occurring mental health and medical conditions, such as chronic pain, autoimmune diseases, and substance use disorders. Your keen understanding of the complexities associated with these dual diagnoses will be crucial in providing effective therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the State of Florida.

• Demonstrable proficiency in addressing the mental health needs of individuals with co-occurring medical conditions.

• Strong experience in collaborative care settings, liaising with medical professionals to provide comprehensive support.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that foster trust and rapport with patients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
