Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments that thoroughly evaluate individuals in the context of their medical history and current health conditions, ensuring an understanding of how these factors impact their mental well-being.

• Develop and implement comprehensive, integrated treatment plans that address both psychiatric and medical concerns, utilizing evidence-based methodologies that support patient-centered care.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that are tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient, employing various therapeutic modalities to foster positive growth and coping strategies.

• Engage in regular collaboration with medical providers to ensure that the therapeutic and medical treatment plans are effectively coordinated, leading to improved patient outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention and psychological support during mental health emergencies, utilizing your training and skills to stabilize patients effectively.

• Educate patients on the interconnections between mental and physical health, empowering them to take an active role in managing their conditions.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with all relevant legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client base, primarily individuals facing dual diagnoses—mental health disorders alongside chronic medical conditions. This role requires an understanding of the complexities involved in treating such populations and a genuine commitment to enhancing their overall quality of life through empathetic and comprehensive care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington.

• Proven experience in addressing mental health needs for clients with complex, co-occurring medical conditions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling rapport-building with patients and collaboration with healthcare teams.
\n
• A meticulous approach to maintaining professional boundaries, patient confidentiality, and adherence to ethical guidelines at all times.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and other digital tools used in teletherapy.
\n
• A strong capacity for teamwork and collaborative care in an interdisciplinary setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in an outpatient setting working with patients who have chronic pain or substance use disorders.

• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and methods.

• Previous involvement in integrated care models or similar interdisciplinary frameworks.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
