Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Haywood Counseling Center, your main responsibilities will include:

• Conducting compassionate and ethical therapy sessions via video conferencing, ensuring that clients feel safe and supported.

• Utilizing evidence-based treatment methods, including solution-focused approaches, to effectively tailor individual therapy plans to meet each client's unique needs.

• Regularly assessing client progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary, while promoting the development of healthy coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Current independent licensure as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).

• Applicants must be in good standing with no disciplinary actions and must possess excellent interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the ideal candidate will possess experience in a virtual therapy setting, as well as familiarity with integrated digital therapy tools. Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and maintain high levels of engagement remotely would enhance effectiveness in this role.
