RN - Wound Care

Must have BLS and a current Wound Care Certification with an Accredited Wound Care Certification Course. The RN needs to have at least 2 years of clinical experience in professional nursing care principles, practice, and procedures. Must have knowledge of various wound and ostomy treatment with abackground in a clinic situation with a primary setting of adult care with chronic medical problems and the ability to recognize signs and/or symptoms to quickly provide emergency care, if needed. Job Summary As a Procedural Registered Nurse, you will work as a licensed professional and use the nursing practice model to oversee patient care by the healthcare team. Your responsibilities will involve assessing patients, identifying nursing diagnoses for health issues, and developing personalized care plans. You will also assess patient responses regularly. Your contributions will help patients navigate healthcare safely by understanding their needs and the healthcare system. This will prevent complications and delays. Delegating tasks to other staff will be based on Texas nursing laws, patient conditions, and staff skills. What You'll Do As a Procedural Registered Nurse, your main focus is to use careful clinical judgement. You'll assess patients and prioritize their needs.
