SAP P2P Business Analyst

Location: San Leanardo, CA Contract: 06-12 Months

As a SAP P2P Business Analyst, you will lead and support end-to-end procure-to-pay initiatives within an S/4HANA Fashion environment. You will act as both a project lead and subject-matter expert, guiding system optimization and ensuring SAP best practices are followed throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle P2P projects: collaborate on requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing (unit & UAT), user training, and post-go-live hypercare support.
• Serve as SAP Subject Matter Expert, providing guidance on system issues, best practices, and functional design decisions.
• Consult with stakeholders to evaluate current MM, SD, and FI processes, recommending improvements and documenting cost-benefit and risk assessments.
• Mentor and guide fellow Functional Analysts on cross-module impacts, integration points, and testing strategies.
• Deliver clear, executive-level communications across all organization levels.

Required Skills & Expertise

• Extensive knowledge of SAP MM, SD, and FI integration within S/4HANA.
• Proven experience delivering complex interface solutions—from source systems through middleware into SAP.
• Strong business acumen in procurement and sales processes (P2P & O2C).
• Demonstrated ability to translate business challenges into robust SAP solutions, balancing functional feasibility, cost, and compliance.
• Comfortable working in complex and dynamic environments, managing multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills at all levels of the organization.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ SAP experience in P2P roles, including 3 full lifecycle SAP MM implementations.
• Hands-on experience with procurement bolt-ons (e.g., in-house solutions, Infor Nexus, planning systems).
• Prior exposure to S/4HANA in the fashion or retail industry.
• Deep expertise in Purchasing, Logistics Invoice Verification (LIV), Pricing Procedures, Sales & Use Tax, and IDoc integrations.
• Proven track record liaising with senior leadership and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow ticketing is a plus.
• Demonstrated proficiency in industry best practices, translating advanced business requirements into technical design.
• Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills.
• Basic ABAP debugging experience is desirable.

Education

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, IT, Supply Chain, or a related field.
