Nurse Practitioner - Addiction Medicine

Job Summary Boulder Care is hiring experienced Nurse Practitioners aligned with harm‑reduction principles. In this fully remote outpatient setting, clinicians independently initiate and manage buprenorphine treatment for opioid use disorder (MOUD) within a structured, team‑supported care model. We are looking for individuals who Reside in one of the following states: AK, AZ, CO, FL, ID, IL, KS, MA, MD, MN, NC, NH, NM, NV, NY, OH, OR, VA, WA, WY Hold an active Nurse Practitioner license in their state of residence (cannot accept PA‑Cs or CNSs). Candidates in Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, or Virginia must also hold the designation or licensure required for independent practice. Have 2 years of experience in an independent, outpatient setting where buprenorphine was a core part of daily practice, including initiating care. Are interested in full‑time work (30–40 hours/week). Schedule & Work Structure Full‑time: 30–40 hours per week Shift structures 3×10h, 4×8h, 4×10h, or 5×8h shifts 10‑hour shifts: typically 8:00 AM–6:00 PM 8‑hour shifts: typically 10:00 AM–6:00 PM Clinicians in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, or Wyoming may have condensed schedules (up to 7 PM MT). Example: 9:00 AM–7:00 PM MT (10 h) or 11:00 AM–7:00 PM MT (8 h). 5×8 hours in MT: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM MT Paid Break Allotments 8+ hour shift: one 30‑minute break + one 10‑minute break (40 min) 10+ hour shift: one 30‑minute break + two 10‑minute breaks (50 min) Qualifications Active NP license in a qualifying state: AK, AZ, CO, FL, ID, IL, KS, MA, MD, MN, NC, NH, NM, NV, NY, OH, OR, VA, WA, WY Compliance with independent practice requirements in FL, IL, MA, MN, or VA 2 years of independent, outpatient buprenorphine prescribing experience (initiating and maintaining treatment) Strong patient‑centered practice with autonomous decision‑making HIPAA‑compliant private workspace Compensation & Benefits (Full‑Time) Salary : $130,000–$140,000 (up to $145,000 in select HCOL markets) for 1.0 FTE. Hourly: $62.50–$67.31 (up to $69.71 in HCOL). Salary is calibrated for approximately 2years of relevant experience and may vary by location and depth of experience.
