Job Title: Family Law Associate Attorney
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Aspen Careers is working with a local firm that seeks to hire an associate attorney with 5+ years of family law experience to join their team. The firm offers a culture that is built on a commitment to providing exceptional legal services. The Family Law Practice Group is dedicated to supporting clients through compassionate and skilled advocacy.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare legal pleadings and discovery documents.
- Organize and respond to discovery requests.
- Draft motions and analyze financial information.
- Prepare marital balance sheets, child support guidelines, and spousal support calculations.
- Conduct legal research using platforms such as Lexis.
- Represent clients in state courts, including appearances before judicial officers.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in family law matters, including litigation and financial analysis
- Strong communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
- Technologically proficient.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused environment.
