If you want to make an impact on a global scale, come make a difference at Fiserv.Job TitlePayroll SpecialistAbout Your RoleAs a member of our USA Payroll team you would be a leading partner in all activities related to the timely and accurate processing of USA and Canadian payrolls for Fiserv's 21000+ employees. This is an opportunity to work with a skilled, collaborative team in a global environment.What You Will Do:Processing USA bi-weekly and/or semi-monthly as well as Canada Bi-weekly payrolls from start to finish. To include reviewing hours entered, overtime calculations, retro pay, benefit deductions/contributions, bonus/commission payouts and leave of absence payments, garnishments etc.Investigate and resolve payroll inquiries/discrepancies via timely communications and resolutions, typically via our case tracking systemEvaluate, calculate and process off-cycle payments as needed and submit for approvalPartner with appropriate business and/or human resource functions as needed to ensure timely and accurate entry of payroll transactionsProvide functional support of Workday Payroll working directly with internal customers in managing their requestsValidate new hire/rehire set up and taxationHandle multi-state tax allocation set up, calculations, corrections, overpayment / repayment calculations and W-2 corrections.Maintain and update payroll procedures and documentationResponsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary.What You Will Need To Have:4-year college degree in relevant discipline (accounting, finance, business administration, etc.)3-5 years of an equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience3+ years of high volume full-cycle in-house multi-state payroll processing experienceStrong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations as well as wage laws for the USAHave a strong proficiency of Microsoft Excel required (Vlookup, Pivot Tables, etc)What Would Be Great To Have:Workday experienceCPP certificationPHR, SPHR, GPHR certificationHow You'll Work:This role is on-site Monday through Friday.
