The Transition Manager will work alongside the US & India Delivery Team in managing complex transitions within the services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the seamless transition of services, processes, from client environments or incumbent vendors to our organization. This role requires strong leadership, project management,stakeholder management, and the ability to build and lead a high-performing transition team.What can you expect to do?Develop comprehensive transition strategies and detailed transition plansDefine scope, timelines, resource requirements, and risk mitigation strategiesWork in collaboration with internal and external stakeholdersLead end-to-end planning and execution of service or process transitionsCoordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and successful deliveryEnsure seamless knowledge transfer, process migration, and operational handoverOversee training, documentation, and stakeholder communication throughout the transitionConduct regular status updates, governance meetings, and executive briefingsManage client expectations and ensure high levels of satisfactionMonitor and report on transition progress, risks, and issues to leadershipEnsure all transition documentation, SOPs, and knowledge bases are created and maintainedDrive compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirementsSupport post-transition handover and stabilization effortsConduct post-transition reviews and implement lessons learnedCore Competencies:Proven track record of managing large-scale transitions across geographies and domains.Strong project management and stakeholder engagement capabilitiesExcellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal skills, coordination, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple transitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Experience in managing cross-functional and cross-cultural teamsExcellent client relationship skillsExcellent storytelling, documentation, and verbal and written communication skillsAbility to influence clients, including C-Suite executivesStrong active listening skills and the ability to ask clarifying questionsProficient in Microsoft suite of applications, expert PowerPoint slide creation and MS ProjectAbility to manage multiple transitions in parallelSelf-starter, demonstrating initiative and confidence, ability to self-motivate, and work collaboratively with othersAbility to manage own workload, maintain deadlines, and prioritize / reprioritize effectivelyAbility to work in a challenging, fast-paced, and results-driven team environmentAttention to detail in a metrics-driven modelAbility to provide 6 or more hours of overlap with US Eastern Time ZoneWhat is the experience needed to be successful in this role?Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field (MBA preferred).15+ years of experience in service transition, project management, service delivery or equivalent work experience within the procurement services functionExperience supporting US-based and global companies and clients across timezonesWorked within procurement consulting worldStrong understanding service delivery models and ITIL, PMP/Prince2 methodologies (certifications preferred).Location:This role is remote based in India working as an extension of the US-based team.BE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
