You will be part of a collaborative Mental Health Team that operates within a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility while maintaining high-quality care. This position requires you to engage actively with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring comprehensive support for our students.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students with various special needs to identify their unique challenges and strengths.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans targeting mental health, emotional well-being, and the integration of students into school life.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored for a range of conditions, including ASD, ADHD, emotional disorders, and trauma recovery.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that focus on personal development, emotional regulation, and effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with educators, speech and occupational therapists, and other professionals to provide holistic care and enhance student outcomes.

• Respond to mental health crises promptly, offering the necessary support and intervention.
\n
• Educate students and their families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available resources.
\n
• Ensure meticulous documentation of all assessments, interventions, and therapeutic processes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and staff development workshops to enhance collective knowledge and care strategies.

• Stay informed about current mental health laws, ethical standards, and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on students within our Special Education Program who require mental health support due to various challenges. You will interact closely with children and adolescents living with ASD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, ADHD, and those who have experienced trauma. Your compassionate approach will help foster resilience and the capacity for emotional growth in this vulnerable population.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in Pennsylvania.

Preferred Experience\n
