Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Oncology

Location: Cincinnati, OH
Duration: 12 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Shift: Day Shift (4x9 Hours)
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 36 Hours/Week

Pay Rate:

• Local: $45.00 - $50.00/hr

• Traveler: $55.00 - $60.00/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Outpatient Oncology RN to provide high-quality care to oncology patients receiving chemotherapy and infusion treatments. The RN will perform patient assessments, education, care coordination, and clinical documentation while working closely with physicians and the oncology team.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and document findings in EMR.

• Administer and support chemotherapy infusion treatments.

• Monitor patients during treatment and respond to adverse reactions.

• Educate patients regarding medications, treatments, and follow-up care.

• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.

• Manage phone triage and patient concerns.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records.

Requirements

• Active RN License.

• Current BLS Certification.

• Oncology chemotherapy infusion experience required.

• Outpatient oncology nursing experience required.

• EMR experience required.

• Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
