Talent Consultant

Role Description

Ignite Human Capital is seeking an experienced Talent Consultant to support a high-growth biotechnology organization through an embedded Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) and Talent Advisory engagement. This consultant will serve as a strategic recruiting partner responsible for identifying, attracting, and delivering exceptional talent across various functions.

• Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts from intake through offer acceptance.
• Partner with executive leadership, functional leaders, and hiring managers to develop workforce plans and hiring strategies.
• Build proactive talent pipelines across scientific, clinical, regulatory, commercial, and corporate functions.
• Conduct candidate assessments evaluating technical expertise, leadership capability, industry knowledge, and organizational fit.
• Perform market mapping and competitive intelligence within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and life sciences sectors.
• Source passive candidates utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, industry associations, scientific networks, conferences, referrals, and direct outreach.
• Advise hiring leaders regarding compensation trends, talent availability, and competitive hiring practices.
• Coordinate interviews and maintain exceptional candidate experiences.
• Support employer branding initiatives and talent attraction campaigns.
• Maintain recruiting activity and reporting within ATS and CRM systems.
• Deliver recruiting analytics, hiring forecasts, and executive-level progress updates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting experience supporting biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, CRO, or life sciences organizations.
• Demonstrated success recruiting scientific, clinical, regulatory, quality, and commercial professionals.
• Understanding of FDA regulations, GCP, GMP, GLP, and regulated healthcare environments.
• Experience supporting both clinical-stage and commercial-stage organizations.
• Strong sourcing and talent mapping capabilities.
• Experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, CRM systems, and modern recruiting technologies.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and consultative communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

Engagement Model

The Talent Consultant operates as an embedded extension of the client's talent acquisition function, providing strategic recruiting expertise, workforce planning support, proactive talent sourcing, and full-cycle recruitment services across scientific, clinical, regulatory, commercial, and corporate business functions.
