The TL;DR Role: Early Career Type: Full-time Location: In-person Miami, FL Team: Kaufman Rossin Alternative Investment Services (KRAIS) Mission: To provide comprehensive fund administration services, including portfolio accounting and investor services, to alternative investment fund clients. Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, Bloomberg, Paxus What You'll Actually Do Process Fund Accounting: Perform end-to-end portfolio fund accounting processes including fund transactions, reconciliations, valuations, corporate action processing, and the production of financial and investor statements. Produce NAV Reports: Prepare Net Asset Value (NAV) workpapers and reports, along with performance reports for use by investment managers, investors, and third parties. Draft Financial Statements: Prepare various financial statements such as the statement of assets and liabilities, schedule of net asset value per share, statement of operations, statement of changes in shareholders' equity, and statement of cash flows. Account for Investments: Ensure accurate accounting for a diverse range of investments and securities including equities, fixed income, options, futures, private placements, private equity investments, and other derivative investments. The Must-Haves Background: Entry-level career professional with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, possessing an understanding of investments, securities, and financial markets. Skills: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, strong organizational and analytical skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, and attentiveness to details with quick and accurate handling. Experience: No specific years of experience are required for this entry-level position.
