Job Description

The Contracts Assistant will provide administrative and project support for assigned TAB USA customer contracts by assisting the TAB Contract Manager and project team with contract documentation, procurement follow-up, project tracking, customer and supplier communication, quality records, budget updates, and general administrative tasks.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7a - 3:30 p

Located in Spokane Industrial Park, Building 27

What You'll Do

Working closely with the TAB Contract Manager and project team, you'll help keep projects moving by:

• Supporting assigned customer contracts throughout the project life cycle.
• Maintaining contract, project, purchasing, quality, and customer documentation.
• Tracking project milestones, action items, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Assisting with project quotations, purchase orders, invoices, cost updates, and budget information.
• Following up with suppliers on quotes, orders, acknowledgments, deliveries, and required documentation.
• Helping coordinate materials and labor documentation to support customer and project deadlines.
• Supporting customer and supplier communications and following up on requests and action items.
• Assisting with project status updates, reports, meeting notes, and routine correspondence.
• Maintaining quality records and supporting quality inspections, corrective actions, and lessons learned.
• Helping track engineering, procurement, financial, and schedule information.
• Supporting project teams as requirements, designs, processes, and customer needs change.
• Following Pyrotek safety, quality, environmental, and business procedures.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

Required:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow through on commitments.
• Sound judgment, critical-thinking skills, and a willingness to take initiative.

Preferred:

• Associate degree or coursework in Business, Administration, Supply Chain, or a related technical discipline .
• Experience in administration, customer service, purchasing, project support, or a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Exposure to contracts, procurement, project coordination, budgeting, or quality documentation.

Contract management experience is not required. What matters most is your ability to learn, stay organized, ask good questions, and keep things moving.

Work Environment

This position is primarily based in an office environment with exposure to a manufacturing environment. The role may involve exposure to loud noise, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. Appropriate personal protective equipment may be required when working in applicable areas.

The position may occasionally require lifting up to 25 pounds, using stairs, bending and reaching, and communicating effectively by phone, in person, and in writing.

Additional Information

The minimum and maximum hourly range for this full-time position is $24 - $27 + benefits.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in this posted role reflect the base salary only and do not include bonus or benefits.
