Zeroto1 is a 76 person Social Commerce and Influencer Marketing agency based in Orange County, CA. We scale $100M+ consumer brands through Influencer Partnership Ads, TikTok Shop Management, Live Shopping, and Creator-Affiliate communities. Position Overview The Community Manager is responsible for building and growing an engaged creator community that inspires participation, collaboration, and high-quality content creation. In this role, you'll manage day-to-day community operations across Discord, Lark, and other platforms, foster meaningful relationships with creators, and drive engagement through campaigns, product launches, and community initiatives. You'll partner closely with cross-functional teams to identify top creators, increase community participation, and help turn creator engagement into impactful content. Key Responsibilities Community Growth and Daily Operations Grow and manage creator communities across Discord, Lark, and other community platforms. Drive daily community engagement by facilitating conversations, answering questions, sharing updates, and supporting creators. Welcome and onboard new creators , ensuring they understand community resources and opportunities. Communicate campaigns, product launches, incentives, and affiliate programs to keep creators informed and engaged. Maintain an organized, positive community experience by managing community guidelines, channel structure, and removing participation barriers. Community Activation Drive creator participation in campaigns, sample programs, affiliate initiatives, and content challenges. Increase creator engagement through community activation strategies that boost participation and content creation. Partner with cross-functional teams to promote campaigns, content opportunities, and affiliate programs. Develop re-engagement initiatives to reactivate inactive creators and strengthen community participation. Track and analyze community engagement to identify activities that drive meaningful creator action and content output. Weekly Newsletter and Announcement Execution Own the execution of weekly creator newsletters and community announcements across designated channels. Create and distribute engaging communications highlighting campaigns, product updates, samples, incentives, and other creator opportunities. Partner with the Content Strategist to align messaging, priorities, and community communications. Develop newsletter content and supporting assets , including copy, visuals, and promotional materials. Track newsletter performance and creator engagement to optimize communication effectiveness and follow-up actions. Campaign Launch Support Support campaign launches by coordinating communications across creator communities. Prepare and distribute campaign materials , including announcements, reminders, FAQs, and participation instructions. Educate creators on campaign objectives, requirements, deadlines, incentives, and available opportunities. Provide ongoing creator support by answering questions and driving participation throughout campaign execution. Gather creator feedback and share insights with the Content Strategist to improve future campaigns. Creator Lead Identification Identify high-potential creators based on engagement, content quality, product fit, and community participation. Recommend creators for paid partnerships, affiliate programs, sample opportunities, and future campaigns. Collaborate with the Paid Creator Manager by sharing qualified creator leads and partnership opportunities. Maintain creator pipelines and tracking with detailed notes on performance, strengths, and next steps. Support creator growth by helping develop pathways from community members to affiliate and paid creator partnerships. Community Feedback and Reporting Collect and share creator feedback on campaigns, products, incentives, and overall community experience. Monitor community sentiment by identifying trends, common questions, and participation barriers. Track key community metrics including growth, engagement, campaign participation, and content output. Provide regular performance reports with actionable insights and community updates. Recommend process improvements to enhance community operations, communication, and creator engagement. Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in community management, creator operations, influencer marketing, social media, or a related field. Experience managing online communities on platforms like Discord, Slack, Lark, Facebook Groups, or similar. Excellent written communication skills with the ability to engage, activate, and grow creator communities.
