A growing and highly respected organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead all aspects of HR strategy and operations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, performance management, benefits, compensation, training, and organizational development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with executive leadership on HR strategy, workforce planning, employee engagement, and retention initiatives
- Oversee employee relations, investigations, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution
- Lead recruiting, onboarding, and talent management efforts
- Administer compensation, benefits, leave programs, and performance management processes
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and training programs
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws
- Promote a positive workplace culture and support organizational growth initiatives
- Facilitate professional development and employee training programs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Insurance industry experience required
- Progressive HR leadership experience with broad exposure to employee relations, compliance, talent acquisition, compensation, and benefits
- Experience conducting investigations and coaching managers through complex employee matters
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- ADP Workforce Now and ADP Payroll experience strongly preferred
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
