Private Markets Growth Mentors provide strategic growth guidance, deal activation insights, and operational mentorship , helping sponsors, funds, and investors scale their private market initiatives while benefiting from earning opportunities and enhanced credibility across the network.

Role Overview

Initio Sphere is onboarding Private Markets Growth Mentors to deliver high-level strategic guidance on market expansion, fund scaling, and investment growth opportunities .

This is an independent contractor role , not traditional employment. Mentors operate through a verification and approval process. Once approved, Mentors:

• Advise on fund growth strategies, capital raising, and deal structuring

• Mentor analysts and deal scouts, enhancing internal capabilities and deal execution effectiveness

• Access curated deal flow, earning opportunities, and platform-driven exposure

• Build a verified Advisor Track Record within Initio Sphere

This role is ideal for experienced operators, ex-investment bankers, fund managers, or senior consultants with a proven record of scaling funds, driving transaction growth, or leading investment initiatives .

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Approved Private Markets Growth Mentors may:

• Advise fund managers on capital strategy, LP engagement, and fundraising positioning

• Support deal sponsors with transaction growth strategy, structuring, and negotiation oversight

• Mentor analysts and deal scouts on modeling, diligence, and deal execution best practices

• Provide portfolio advisory services, operational insights, and value creation guidance

• Participate in curated introductions with institutional investors or co-investors

Mentors focus on strategic growth, scaling deals, and relationship-driven market activation . Day-to-day modeling is handled by analysts unless explicitly approved.

Eligible Advisory Areas

• Fund growth strategy, capital raising, and LP communications

• Deal structuring, transaction scaling, and investment committee support

• Operational or portfolio company advisory for growth initiatives

• Mentorship and technical training for analysts and scouts

• Investor relations, network strategy, and ecosystem growth

Approval is granted based on experience, track record, and demonstrated ability to drive private market growth .

Compensation & Deal Economics

• Independent contractor engagement

• Hourly rates: $200–$500 , based on experience, track record, and engagement scope

• Transaction-based incentives may be earned for advisory on closed deals

• Payments issued after successful completion of advisory milestones or deal closure

• No cap on earning potential for consistent high-value contributions

How Mentors Get Activated

1. Submit a Private Markets Growth Mentor application with background, track record, and deal history

2. Complete verification and category approval

3. Get activated within the Initio Sphere platform

4. Begin working with funds, sponsors, and analysts on approved engagements

This ensures selectivity, credibility, and direct access to live growth opportunities in private markets .
