Job Description As a Security Officer Driver for Armed Patrol Inspections in Polkton, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government corrections location. Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon05:45 AM - 06:00 PMTue05:45 AM - 06:00 PMWed05:45 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and/or parking areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access. Monitor and control access to designated areas; verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and report access concerns in accordance with site-specific procedures. Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken. Complete detailed reports, maintain required records, and support the professional handling of security-related operations in accordance with applicable policies and procedures. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. An armed guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
