PMP Certified Project Manager

Working up to 20 hours per week, the Part-Time PMP Certified Project Manager will provide project management expertise and leadership for mid-size to large scale projects across the university's academic, administrative, and research functions, collaborating closely with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, timelines, and budgets in a flexible remote work environment. Key Responsibilities Partner with project sponsors and stakeholders to align project business cases with university objectives, ensuring clear success criteria are defined Lead projects from initiation through closeout, managing the full project life cycle and ensuring timely delivery against agreed scope, schedule, and budget Track and monitor project progress, regularly reporting performance and proactively identifying and mitigating project risks Required Qualifications Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required A minimum of three years of experience leading complex projects in an academic or higher education setting Proven expertise in creating and managing project documentation, including project charters and risk assessments In-depth understanding of project management concepts and practices, particularly in educational environments Bachelor's degree
