Our client is seeking an entry-level Buyer/Purchasing Coordinator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 0-3 years of experience who enjoys working with data, Excel, and purchasing processes. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to build a career in purchasing, inventory, or supply chain.

Responsibilities
- Analyze sales, inventory, and purchasing data to support buying decisions.
- Create and maintain purchase orders based on inventory needs and demand forecasts.
- Communicate with vendors regarding order status, lead times, shipments, and delivery schedules.
- Assist with new product setup and the phase-out of discontinued items.
- Support the buying team with product research, pricing updates, and vendor documentation.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure data integrity.
- Utilize Excel to organize, analyze, and report on purchasing information.
- Assist with additional projects and administrative tasks as needed.
- 0-3 years of experience in purchasing, buying, inventory, merchandising, business analysis, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and basic formulas.
- SQL knowledge is a plus but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team in a fast-paced office environment.
