Senior Accountant

Soni is partnered with a growing and dynamic organization, who is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in financial reporting, compliance, and accounting operations. This position is heavily focused on analyzing financial data, ensuring accuracy, and supporting strategic decision-making, with additional exposure to tax and operational accounting. Responsibilities Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Support and own key components of the month-end close process Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy across accounts Analyze financial reports and provide insight into business performanceSupport compliance reporting, including validation of financial data and cash flow Tax & Compliance Support multi-state tax compliance, including sales and use tax Partner with external tax providers on filings and reporting Help evaluate filing requirements across different states Accounting Operations Perform and review account reconciliations Support ongoing accounting operations and audit preparation Assist with process improvements and system enhancements Additional Exposure Opportunity to support international accounting initiatives (Panama) Work closely with leadership on financial insights and process improvements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 5–10 years of accounting experience Strong background in financial reporting and month-end close Experience with sales/use and excise tax (general understanding) Solid understanding of GAAP Strong Excel skills and NetSuite experience (a must) Analytical mindset with ability to interpret and question financial data Preferred Skills Public + private accounting background CPA not required (Master’s a plus) Exposure to international operations (nice to have) Compensation $100,000 – $130,000 Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications #J-18808-Ljbffr Soni
