Surgery, Physician Assistant Surgical Float

Job Description

Seeking a full-time Surgical Float physician assistant to join a busy practice at Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, California.

This position would provide support to multiple surgical service lines including Urogynecology, Gynecology Oncology, Hepatobiliary Surgical Oncology, General Surgery, and Thoracic Surgery. This is a great opportunity to join a large, well-respected team. The ideal candidate will have a strong OR skills and robotics experience, as well as experience with inpatient surgical patient management.

Position Details:

• Full-time position

• Monday to Friday schedule with optional extra shifts
\n
• No call requirements
\n
• Responsibilities include OR first assist, inpatient rounds on post-op patients, and occasionally clinic support
\n

Compensation & Benefits:

• Compensation is between $168,094 and $230,804 per year
\n
• Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible

The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and may include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, hospital/ED call stipends, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 3+ years OR experience required; new graduates will not be considered
\n
• NPs with RNFA and OR experience welcome to apply
\n
• NCCPA Certification, active California License, and DEA certificate required
\n
• Epic experience is a plus
