Full-Time Medical Receptionist REMedy Sleep Medicine provides compassionate, high-quality sleep care to patients throughout the Kansas City area. Our physician-owned practice treats a variety of sleep conditions, including sleep apnea, narcolepsy, insomnia, and restless legs syndrome. We offer both at-home and in-lab sleep study options to provide patients with convenient, comprehensive care. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be one of the first points of contact for our patients and an important part of keeping our clinic running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner Register patients and maintain accurate demographic and insurance information Assist patients with completing required forms and documentation Collect co-pays and other patient payments Verify insurance eligibility and complete prior authorizations for patients Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and route calls appropriately Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements Communicate effectively with patients and providers Work collaboratively to support smooth daily operations Compensation Starting Pay: $16–$17 per hour Benefits Eligible employees receive competitive benefits, including: Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Qualifications Required: High school diploma or equivalent Excellent customer service skills and a positive, professional demeanor Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical office environment Preferred: Experience with insurance eligibility verification and prior authorizations Previous experience in a medical office or receptionist role Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems Experience handling patient payments and insurance information #J-18808-Ljbffr Midwest Physician Group
