Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse

Join our Critical Care Float Pool for night shifts with flexibility to meet unit needs as they arise. Nurses will float to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs, and Cardiology/Diagnostics. Nurses are required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience. Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required. Proficiency with EPIC is essential. Candidates must possess skills in IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management. Experience in a travel nursing role is strongly preferred. Nurses will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Social Services, and more. The role includes managing a wide range of patient diagnoses across critical care units. Various support services will be available, including rapid response teams and pharmacy. This position involves working weekend shifts and floating to different areas as needed. References are required for all candidates. Only candidates with valid licenses in hand will be considered. Education must come from an accredited program.
